Al di là di Janis, il sound e la musica dei Big Brothers and the holding Company molto deve a lui.
Acido, psichedelico e pesante.
Ho sempre adorato i Big Brothers anche per questo e ho consumato i vinili. Insieme a Live Dead e a pochi altri dischi, Cheap Thrills e le versioni di “Summertime” e “Balls and Chain” mi hanno fatto cadere dalla sedia la prima volta che le ho sentite.
E quindi… ciao Sam e grazie.
Questo piccolo omaggio, un viaggio nel tempo e nello spazio é tutto ciò che posso fare.

Bello! Notare la bella versione di “So what“, fra i primi titoli suonati. Mooolto interessante.
La qualità video non è eccelsa, ma resta sempre un piacere rivedere/risentire lo “Zio” Jerry, anche acustico anche se mediato dal video.
